Job purpose
BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for “dynamic,
results driven” individual to join as a Controls Engineer. Develop, support, and optimize control systems in existing manufacturing and testing processes, as well as in new projects, to ensure the achievement of organizational objectives and the proposal of process and equipment improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the software required for control equipment.
- Maintain proper backups of programs used in control systems.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Engineering department to optimize control and safety systems.
- Participate in both corrective and preventive actions in response to maintenance-related issues.
- Conduct statistical studies and production line analysis to detect failures and reflect improvement results.
- Update control systems in production equipment.
- Verify compliance with defined production process steps through system logic.
