Purchasing representative within cross-functional project teams from acquisition phase through SOP, responsible for supplier sourcing, cost management, supplier readiness, and technical feasibility to support successful product launches across the Americas region.
Responsibilities Manage sourcing activities from RFQ release through supplier nomination and project launch.
Analyze supplier quotations and support sourcing decisions based on commercial and technical evaluations.
Negotiate pricing, tooling investments, and commercial terms to achieve project cost targets.
Monitor supplier development activities, APQP progress, qualification status, and project timing.
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Program Management, and Category Management throughout the sourcing process.




Support localization initiatives and implementation of purchasing strategies.
Drive cost reduction and design-to-cost initiatives while ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a integral environment.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing or Project Purchasing within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of RFQ processes, supplier negotiations, APQP, PPAP and supplier development.
Knowledge of Incoterms, commercial agreements, cost analysis and procurement strategies.
Advanced English communication skills.
Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, SupplyOn and purchasing-related systems.
Experience working in multicultural and international business environments.
