We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function for our operations in Mexico. This role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support business objectives while ensuring compliance with Mexican labor legislation and company policies.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience across all HR disciplines, including Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Labor Relations, and HR Administration. This individual will partner closely with business leaders to build a high-performing organization and foster a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnership
Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent management.
Support leaders in driving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Employee & Labor Relations
Manage complex employee relations matters while ensuring compliance with Mexican Labor Law (LFT).
Lead disciplinary processes, investigations, terminations, and conflict resolution.
Build and maintain positive relationships with union representatives when applicable.
Ensure compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and labor regulations.
Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies for exempt and non-exempt positions.
Partner with hiring managers to attract, assess, and retain top talent.
Monitor recruitment KPIs, workforce planning, and hiring effectiveness.
Learning & Development
Develop and implement training strategies that support business objectives.
Coordinate leadership development, technical training, onboarding, and compliance training.
Identify organizational capability gaps and implement development plans.
Partner with Compensation & Benefits teams on salary reviews, job evaluations, market benchmarking, incentive programs, and annual compensation cycles.
Ensure competitive compensation practices aligned with business needs.
Payroll & HR Administration
Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure proper administration of employee records, contracts, HR systems, and personnel documentation.
Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for leadership.
Compliance
Ensure full compliance with:
Mexican Federal Labor Law (LFT)
IMSS
INFONAVIT
SAT
STPS regulations
NOMs applicable to labor and workplace compliance
Internal company policies and integral HR standards
Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the HR team.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, inclusion, and high performance.
Drive employee engagement initiatives and organizational culture.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or related field.
Advanced English (written and verbal) – required .
3–5 years of experience in an HR Manager role within multinational companies.
Proven experience leading HR teams and partnering with senior leadership.
Strong knowledge of Mexican employment legislation and labor regulations.
