Join us as a Manager, Customer Project Planning and play a critical role in optimizing operational performance across North America. In this highly visible individual contributor role, you will serve as the strategic link between commercial demand, project execution, and operational capacity across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. You will lead regional capacity planning, workforce forecasting, and resource optimization initiatives to ensure customer project demand is effectively balanced against available operational resources. Working closely with SIOP, plant leaders, project teams, and operations stakeholders, you will drive data-based decisions that maximize efficiency, improve utilization, and support business growth. This role has a direct impact on operational results and customer delivery performance across the cluster. What will you do? Lead capacity and resource planning activities across multiple countries, ensuring alignment between project demand, forecasted workload, and available resources. Partner with SIOP, Operations, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams to analyze demand forecasts and translate them into executable resource plans. Monitor workload versus capacity and proactively identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for optimization. Develop strategies to balance resource utilization across the cluster, leveraging underutilized capacity when appropriate. Collaborate with plant leadership teams to understand operational capabilities, workforce availability, and projected demand. Conduct operational reviews and audits to validate planning assumptions, improve forecast accuracy, and identify efficiency opportunities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, operational efficiency, and resource utilization. Provide data-driven recommendations regarding workforce planning, headcount needs, and capacity expansion requirements.



Establish and monitor KPIs related to capacity planning, resource utilization, project execution, and operational performance. Serve as a trusted advisor for decision-making related to customer project planning and operational readiness. What are the key skills we are looking for? Advanced Capacity Planning Resource Planning & Optimization SIOP / Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Forecasting & Demand Planning Stakeholder Management Business Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making Cross-Functional Leadership Operational Excellence Continuous Improvement Problem Solving Intermediate to Advanced Project Management Workforce Planning Financial & Operational Acumen Risk Assessment & Scenario Planning Power BI, Excel, and Planning Tools What qualifications will make you successful? Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, operations planning, resource management, SIOP, project planning, or related functions. Experience managing complex planning activities across multiple locations, business units, or countries. Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert operational data into actionable business decisions. Experience working closely with manufacturing plants, operations leaders, and commercial teams. Proven track record improving operational efficiency, resource utilization, and planning effectiveness. Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting and planning tools. Engineering background is valued but not required. Fluent English required. What will set you apart? Experience in SIOP leadership or integrated business planning (IBP) environments. Experience supporting regional or multinational operations. Knowledge of workforce planning methodologies and capacity modeling. Experience driving operational transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.
