Role Summary
The IT Project Assistant provides administrative and coordination support to the IT Manager and IT team. This role helps organize project-related tasks, maintain documentation, schedule meetings, and track basic progress updates. The position is focused on assisting and supporting project activities rather than leading or managing projects.

Main Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for IT projects.
- Help organize project timelines, task lists, documentation, budgets, schedules and progress.
- Update tracking sheets and maintain project files.
- Schedule meetings, send calendar invitations, prepare agendas, presentations and take minutes when required.
- Follow up on assigned action items and send reminders.
- Support communication between IT staff and other departments as instructed by the IT Manager.
- Assist with organizing vendor information, quotes, and basic documentation.




- Prepare simple status summaries when requested and identify potential delays.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Administration, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks.
- Good communication skills in English and Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or assistant role.
- Basic familiarity with software/tools (e.g., Trello, Microsoft Project, BaseCamp).
- Experience working in an educational environment is a plus.
