The DJ - Entertainment Technician is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and technically excellent entertainment services for guests while ensuring adherence to company policies and striving for total guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Create a lively and energetic atmosphere for scheduled events and parties such as disco nights.
- Make sound judgments regarding music selection, suitability of material, and appropriate volume levels.
- Maintain equipment in a safe, clean, and fully operational condition.
- Work within prescribed event parameters and themes (e.g., deck parties, cocktail parties) as scheduled by ship management and the entertainment department.
- Organize and maintain the onboard music library.
- Accommodate special requests for charters and group events.
- Assist with equipment set‑ups, breakdowns, and clean‑ups in public areas under the direction of the Sound & Light Manager.
- Support set‑up for lectures, culinary demonstrations, guest talks, wine tastings, shore excursions presentations, and group events.




- Assist the Sound & Light Manager with sound checks, spotlight checks, and nightly performances.
- Participate in rehearsals for both onboard productions and guest entertainers.
- Assist with set‑up and clearing of band equipment and guest karaoke nights.
- During longer voyages (10+ days), organize and lead special DJ events and training sessions (e.g., creating a music library, optimizing music devices).
- Respond proactively and efficiently to issues, escalating concerns when necessary, and keeping supervisors fully informed of significant matters.
- Socialize with guests in public venues, enhancing their experience through personalized interaction.
