Alongside our global campuses, we also collaborate with talented contractors and freelancers from all over the world to help us achieve our crazy big goals. While we support adaptable, remote-friendly ways of working, for this role we’re focusing on Mexico City, Mexico, so we can best support our teams and keep collaboration flowing.
This role is a 12-month engagement, working full-time hours.
What you’d be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Partnering with the Country Localisation Lead to shape Canva’s voice across all areas of the product in Spanish (MX)




- Translating and reviewing key product and marketing content while managing relationships with localisation partners and vendors
- Developing and maintaining style guides, glossaries, and translation memories to ensure consistency and quality
- Providing cultural insights and localisation recommendations to improve the user experience for Mexican audiences
- Assessing machine translation and AI-generated language outputs to maintain high-quality local experiences
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, subscriptions, content, and localisation to deliver impactful initiatives
- Identifying opportunities to improve localisation workflows, tooling, and quality processes at scale
