SAP FICO

Lead and support SAP FICO implementations, rollouts, and production support activities.

Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Configure and customize SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, COPA).

Ensure smooth month-end and year-end closing activities with minimal business disruption.

Provide L2/L3 support by resolving tickets, troubleshooting issues, and performing root cause analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, ABAP) for integrations and issue resolution.

Handle CFDI requirements including e-invoicing compliance, integration with PAC providers, and regulatory reporting for Mexico.

Support audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with financial standards.

Participate in testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT) and support deployment activities.

Prepare and maintain documentation such as functional specs, configuration documents, and user guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications





8+ years of experience in SAP FICO with at least 1–2 end-to-end implementations.

Strong knowledge of FI modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting.

Good understanding of CO modules: Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, and Product Costing.

Hands-on experience in support projects (ticket handling, incident/problem management).

Experience with CFDI (Mexico e-invoicing), including compliance and integration.

Knowledge of localization requirements for LATAM, especially Mexico.

Experience in working with interfaces, IDOCs, and enhancements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with S/4HANA Finance.

Exposure to FSCM, Treasury, or Taxation modules.

Experience working in general delivery models (onsite/offshore).

Certification in SAP FICO is a plus.
