Function: Quality Engineering

Main Responsibilities





Provide support to the Deere Partners and/or OEM Customers when a quality no-conformance related to MJD products is reported, including the implementation of effective containment actions at the vehicle factories and at MJD. Execute product inspections and reworks by leveraging on third companies. Participate in CI projects to improve As Delivered Quality for engines and axles. Manage costs of poor Quality to be able to charge cost back to the corresponding failure mode source. Deploy Customer Claim Resolution Process at MJD to mitigate reported failure modes and expedite corrective action process.

What Skills You Need

• Inputs and maintains information in factory databases and systems. Monitors Quality plan tracking system.
• Monitor Quality metrics, such as Achieving Excellence, As Delivered Quality, NCCA, CCRP and Others.
• Conduct effective investigation of External non-conformances (ENCs)
• Focus on non-conformances prevention for Engines/axles/machined components
• Establish clear and effective communication channels with Partners and OEM Customers to drive Continuous improvement
• Lead and manage inspections and repairs at Partner Factories
• Manage third party resources located at Partner factories
• Collaborative work with liaison engineers to provide on-site support as needed
• Conduct Customer Claim Resolution process at MJD to ensure only conforming product is shipped out of MJD.
• Budget management
• Knowledge of standard quality tools such as FMEA (Failure Modes Effect Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), Root Cause Analysis,



Statistics.
• Knowledge of basic data analysis techniques. (e.g., pareto charts, histograms, pie and bar charts and control plans.)
