Methodology

Adhere to Valeo’s Simple Process House for Software development

Contributes to the definition of the software methodology in accordance with overall software project manager and SW Dpt Manager.

Project management

Manage the resources of his projects (status progress, tasks, …)

Validates and optimizes the workload plan for his projects.

Drives the daily meeting with his team and stakeholders

Technical Management

Contributes to the capitalizations and the required evolutions to improve the development processes.

Contributes to identification of the required make or buy strategy in accordance with SW Dpt Manager.

Manage the SW Planning and action plan.

Manage the change management of his project and prepare the SwCCB

Manage the Requirement Management

Ensures the correctness of application of the standards.

Budget Management

Support in defining the budget for his projects

Follows up and tracks the budget and updates the 3 months forecast view of his projects.

Contributes to the R&D; efficiency plan of his project in accordance with SW Team Leader

Reporting and Meeting participation

Reports progresses, technical reviews and issues of his project to system project manager, SW Dpt Manager and R&D; PTM.





Attends the weekly meeting with system project manager, SW Dpt Manager and R&D; PTM.

Support the R&D; PTM in project reviews when needed.

Participates in the SW Dpt Monthly Meeting.

Actively participate and accomplish in his or her role in all internal and external requirements related to Quality, Safety, Environmental, Customer, Governmental, and Social Responsibility management systems applicable to the activities of the position.

The aforementioned activities are not limited and may be extended transversally to other functions as required by the organization.

7+ years experience in Automotive industry

Minimum 3 years of SW project management experience

Exposure to full Software development lifecycle from quotation to production and maintenance

Familiarity with planning for milestones and associated Deliverables

Risk management & Problem solving

Quality management / ASPICE
