About the Job: Responsible for coordinating ground logistics and equipment control to ensure efficient inland operations, cost accuracy, supplier compliance, and optimal service to internal and external stakeholders.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Ground Operations & Transportation Coordination

n

- Coordinate train movements and local trucking for import and export shipments.
- Dispatch and monitor all door‑move job orders, ensuring timely creation, accuracy, and supplier appointment compliance.
- Communicate directly with suppliers regarding availability, performance issues, missed appointments, and service shortfalls.
- Handle service exceptions and recovery actions within company guidelines.
- Coordinate with Operations/Procurement teams regarding concerns related to suppliers, power availability, or route performance.




- Maintain and update OOCL systems (VTM and others) with correct actions, routing, and operational data.
- Analyze routes to identify opportunities for cost and operational efficiencies.
- Make land‑side contributions to local and foreign agents, as required.

Equipment Control

n

- Manage equipment inventory, including damaged units, cleaning processes, and Grade A conditioning.
- Oversee delivery and evacuation of empty containers (voids).
- Coordinate equipment exchanges with COSCO, including authorization, registration, and temporary permits.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment‑related movements and costs.
- Review and follow up on different matters of maintenance and repair (M&R;).

Supplier Management

n

- Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new ground service providers.
- Maintain updated supplier and vendor records.
- Evaluate all service providers every six months and document key service performance indicators.
- Conduct deposit evaluations and follow internal governance requirements.

Cost & Record Management

n

- Maintain accurate records of ground transportation and equipment costs.
- Register costs for land operations and verify their accuracy.




- Update and maintain Job Orders and correct discrepancies when necessary.

n

Qualifications:

n

- At least one (1) year of experience in the industry (international logistics, containers, terminals).
- Customer relations telephone.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English (level B1).
- Attention to detail and vendors relations.
- Intermediate-advance Microsoft Office (word, excel, Outlook calendar & email, etc).

- Customer requirements, truck tariffs, overweight, shipper handling import and export process.
- Store door import and export process.
- Government rules and regulations.
- Analytical research.
