We have partnered with a stealth-mode clean energy startup is hiring a Senior Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the testing and operation of a first-of-its-kind Turquoise Hydrogen system . You'll play a hands-on role in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced electro-mechanical and instrumentation systems used in pilot- and commercial-scale reactors.

This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious team building breakthrough technology for low-cost, zero-emission hydrogen production.

Responsibilities

- Lead installation, calibration, and testing of mechanical and electrical systems (e.g., reactors, instrumentation, motors, actuators, flow meters)
- Maintain and repair automation, control systems (PLCs, DCS), and industrial components
- Troubleshoot gas sampling, heat exchange, and pressure systems in live test environments
- Assist with data acquisition, instrumentation setup, and reactor readiness for test campaigns
- Document maintenance logs, test results, and update system schematics
- Ensure compliance with all safety and industry standards

What You Bring





- Technical diploma or associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or similar field
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in industrial environments (e.g., petrochemical, gas turbine, automotive, gasification)
- Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, control systems, P&IDs;, and technical drawings
- Familiarity with high-pressure gas, combustion, and instrumentation systems
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical equipment
- Experience with hand tools, lathes, milling machines, and metal fabrication
- Bonus: CAD software experience (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO), Spanish language
