Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Lead to join our software development team. The idóneo candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance processes, particularly in Java-based applications. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead QA initiatives, mentor junior team members, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the QA team in developing and implementing testing strategies for Java applications.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects early in the development cycle.
• Mentor and train junior QA engineers on best practices and testing methodologies.
• Continuously improve QA processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Report on testing progress,



results, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality-related aspects.
Mandatory Skills:
• Proficient in Java programming language.
• Extensive experience in software testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong understanding of automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
