Whatyouwillbedoing:






This person will act as an expert resource by leading various teams and processes, accountable for individual work outputs as well as for the different assigned areas and teams. This position will report to the Department Manager.
The Team Leader Role will be Responsible for:
- Running the business into the day to day work and administrative tasks such as coverage, holiday, permission and vacation days.
- Accountability of team tasks, projects & capacity; monitoring the workload to ensure performance, and contribute to team success.
- Guarantees a positive customer experience by providing frontline mentorship, as well as creation and implementation of corrective actions and follow up feedbacks.
- Follow-up with business partners for feedback and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Provides individual and team guidance to inspire disciplined work teams, as well as work standards are followed and sustained.
- Ensure proper communication channels and cascade valuable information to teams.
- Support and follow up the business needs with management direction.
- Provides coaching and manages the process for creation and management of team member's development plans. Mentoring for performance (Impact Coaching), personal development and success of the team members.
- Coordinating various administrative local tasks while maintaining appropriate coverage for the business owners.
- Cultivate, monitor and follow up Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Works closely with the Department Manager in communicating the team needs, team progress, critical issue of corrective actions and HR issues.
- Additional responsibilities include: maintaining visual display boards, accountability boards and participate in new employee interviews.

- You are a problem solver & analyst with the use of Lean, Design Thinking, and project management concepts to improve department effectiveness and efficiency.
- Focused, motivated, versatile, team player, comfortable under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally.
- You have the ability to provide constructive feedback or mentoring for the success of others and help the team reach performance goals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar
- 3-5 years of experience in Logistics or any operations area
- Proven previous experience in leadership and managing teams (direct report)
- Proven Project Management, Continuous Improvement and Performance Orientation Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Availability to travel
- A valid United States visa is required
