About The RoleWe are looking for a DevOps Engineer - Data Platform to strengthen DEUNA's cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability, and observability while supporting the growing needs of our Data Engineering teams.
This role will work closely with DevOps/SRE and Data Engineering to build scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS infrastructure, improve platform resilience, and accelerate delivery through infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices.
The engineer will contribute to broader DevOps initiatives while ensuring our data platforms, including Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas, operate reliably and efficiently as DEUNA scales.Who You Are3-6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, SRE, or Platform Engineering, ideally supporting production data platformsStrong AWS infrastructure and networking experience, including VPC, PrivateLink, Route 53, IAM, cross-account connectivity, and serverless servicesHands-on experience operating both Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas, including their architecture, access management, networking, backups, performance monitoring, and cost optimizationProficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CDK,



along with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automationWorking knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetry, including monitoring and alertingExperience with Python and SQL for automation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure operationsStrong understanding of cloud security, high availability, disaster recovery, and operational reliabilityAbility to collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps/SRE, and Security teams while taking ownership of shared infrastructure and production reliabilityProactive, automation-first mindset with strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skillsWhat You'll DoDesign, manage, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and services supporting both DevOps and Data Engineering workloadsBuild and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CDK, along with CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning and deploymentsManage and improve observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and OpenTelemetrySupport and optimize data platforms, including Snowflake and MongoDB Atlas, focusing on connectivity, performance, security, availability, and cost efficiencyImplement and maintain AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, PrivateLink, DNS, and secure cross-account connectivityImprove infrastructure reliability, scalability, and disaster recovery through automation, multi-region architecture, backup strategies, and failover testingImplement DevSecOps best practices, including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability management, security automation,
