About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and proactive Airport Security Specialist to oversee and manage access control systems and security protocols at a major airport facility in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco . This role is fundamental to maintaining a secure environment for passengers, staff, and operations, requiring a deep understanding of security procedures, threat assessment, and regulatory compliance within the aviation sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing security measures, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to security incidents. This position is adecuado for professionals with a background in security management, law enforcement, or military service, looking to apply their expertise in a critical infrastructure setting. You will play a key role in safeguarding one of Mexico's vital transportation hubs.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and enforce airport security policies and procedures in accordance with national and international regulations (e.g., ICAO, TSA).
- Manage and operate access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter restricted areas.




- Conduct regular security audits and inspections of facilities, equipment, and personnel.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and other security technologies to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
- Investigate security breaches, incidents, and breaches of protocol, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies, immigration authorities, and other stakeholders on security matters.
- Train and supervise security personnel, ensuring they are proficient in their duties and adhere to security standards.
- Manage the issuance of airport identification badges and permits, ensuring compliance with access requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging security threats and technologies, recommending enhancements to the security program.
- Develop and execute emergency response plans for various security-related scenarios in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco .
