We are looking a motivated Controls Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation and control systems. This role involves hands-on engineering work including system design, programming, integration, troubleshooting, and on-site commissioning support. The idóneo candidate will have a strong background in industrial automation and OT systems, with expertise in industrial control systems, SCADA, PLCs and DCs, data acquisition, and industrial networking.

The Controls Engineer will collaborate with technical leads and cross-functional teams to execute projects, support installations, resolve technical issues, and ensure successful delivery of solutions in industrial environments.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial automation projects.
- Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation/AB technology such as FactoryTalk View, FactoryTalk Historian, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, FactoryTalk Assetcente, Stratix Switches, etcetera.
- Strong troubleshooting and teamwork skills.
- Strong proficiency in industrial networking architectures, including Layer 2/3 design, VLAN segmentation, managed switch configuration, firewall rules, and routing protocols.
- Understanding of OT cybersecurity concepts, network segmentation, and industrial standards (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST).
- Willingness to travel (up to 50%)

- Must qualify for a TN Visa.
- Fluent conversational and technical English.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement and maintain electrical and automation systems, including schematics and control solutions.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
- Support system integration, testing, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- Implement, optimize, and troubleshoot Historians and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in the field.
- Configure, deploy, and support FactoryTalk AssetCentre
- Design and maintain secure OT network infrastructure, including VLANs, switches, firewalls, and segmentation
- Diagnose and resolve OT network, SCADA, and historian issues to ensure high plant availability.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Develop technical documentation and provide end-user training
