Engineer II, IT### Engineer II, ITApply: QMX: Full time: Posted Yesterday**Our Culture** We strive for an inclusive company culture, where everyone feels valued, has a voice and is treated fairly, for their personal benefit, the benefit of Quasar, and the benefit of our customers and doctors using our products for patients in need. **Job Summary:** ### · The candidate shall be responsible for end user, infrastructure and cybersecurity support for the Mexico site.### · Manage day-to-day IT operations.### · Collaboration with IT counterparts to implement Global IT projects at the Mexico site.### · Work with local stakeholders to coordinate/implement IT solutions to address unmet needs.### · Provide occasional remote support for end-user, infrastructure, and cybersecurity activities at other sites as required.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**### · Serve as the primary technical contact person for IT end user support services for the Mexico site.### · Technical administrator for IT infrastructure systems (servers, networks and storage systems) and cyber-security operations### · Manage IT office equipment, including printers, telephones, and software applications.### · Monitor system performance, conduct regular security audits and remediation activities.### · Assist in incident response, disaster recovery planning, and backup management.### · Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.### · Document IT infrastructure configurations, system updates, and security procedures.### · Support IT projects, including new technology rollouts, security upgrades,



and system enhancements.### · Provide training and documentation to end-users on IT security best practices and system usage.**Education/Experience and Qualifications:**· Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant fields of studies from a recognized institution.· 5 years of professional experience supporting end user computing, infrastructure and cyber-security operations in a mid-sized business environment.· Work experience with ITIL methodologies.· Good experience supporting Microsoft365 suite of products, Windows Servers, office networking and endpoint security solutions.· Strong preference for candidates with experience from manufacturing environments.### **Key Competencies specific to the role:**· Good project and time management skills.· Good problem-solving skills.· Able to thrive in a work environment with stakeholders and IT team members located internationally.· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.· Willingness to learn new IT skills to support business growth.· Good oral and written communication and presentation skills· Customer-oriented **Join Our General Team**Are you passionate about helping others?
