- 2 years of experience in the aerospace or medical industry; 4+ years of experience as a planner in a high-tech, high-mix/low-volume manufacturing environment
- Formal education in planning is a definite advantage
- APICS (CPIM) certification is desirable (Rev. 6/17/2021)
- Must be proficient in the use of ERP systems, with the ability to learn and effectively adapt to new processes
- Hands-on experience in detailed manufacturing planning within a small-business environment
- Experience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma is a definite advantage
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of work orders
- Excellent time-management and decision-making skills
- Experience in defining or revising planning processes is a definite advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literacy (intermediate level in Word/Excel/Outlook).
