Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Test Engineer located in Guadalajara Norte.

Reporting to the Test Engineering Manager, the Test Engineer’s role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

- Experience with electronic test systems: ICT, Functional Test, Flying Probe, Boundary Scan, and device programming.
- Knowledge of Design for Test (DFT) and test coverage analysis.
- Validation of test systems, fixtures, and processes.
- Experience conducting GR&R;, correlation studies, and Golden Unit validations.
- Electronics & Troubleshooting




- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and PCBA manufacturing processes.
- Ability to diagnose hardware, test equipment, and product failures.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other electronic test instruments.
- Root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, and Fishbone.
- Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Experience with test automation and software tools (Python, LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar).
- Ability to improve yield, reduce downtime, optimize cycle time, and enhance overall test performance.
- Data-driven approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
- Project & Stakeholder Management
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and production transfers.
- Coordinate with Quality, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Operations, and external suppliers.
- Lead technical projects and communicate effectively with customers and global teams.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing and automated test systems.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SPEA Flying Probe systems and Keysight/HP3070 ICT platforms.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality tools such as MSA, SPC, CAPA, and Control Plans.
- Proven track record of delivering yield improvement, cost reduction, and equipment efficiency projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Experience in Test Engineering within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Develops instrument drivers.
- Leadership for managing work teams and effective communication with other departments.
- Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
- Designs and supports functional test hardware, computer platforms and interfaces.
- Develop test plans and procedures.
- Coordinates 3rd party development of functional test,
- Designs, develops and/or supports environmental test programs, procedures and profiles
- Designs and/or supports mechanical/electrical interfaces for product tests.
- Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
