About the RoleOur client, a prominent financial services company, is seeking a highly experienced Ingeniero de Datos Senior to join their innovative Investigación y Desarrollo team.
This role, based in our Zapopan, Jalisco office, operates under a hybrid work model, promoting a blend of collaborative office work and remote flexibility.
You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
We are looking for a data architect with a passion for data quality, efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of our data platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize robust and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.Build and manage data warehouses and data lakes on cloud platforms (e.G., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Implement data quality frameworks and ensure data integrity across all data assets.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data needs and provide reliable data solutions.Develop and maintain data models that support analytical and reporting requirements.Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering and big data.Document data pipelines, data models,



and data governance policies.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar role.Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one major programming language (Python, Java, Scala).
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.G., AWS Redshift, S3, Glue; Azure Data Factory, Synapse; GCP BigQuery, Dataflow).
