Job Purpose
We are seeking a Project Manager Engineer responsible for planning, initiating, and implementing strategic manufacturing projects. This is an individual contributor role (no direct reports) requiring high cross-functional coordination and strong influence across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead the full project lifecycle for R&D; and New Product Introduction (NPI), managing everything from initial kickoff to final plant delivery.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Escalation: Coordinate deliverables with operations, engineering, and quality teams. Manage timely escalations whenever a department faces delays or deviations from project goals.
Strategic Planning: Prepare Sales Requisitions, define project scopes, assign resources, and build timelines for strategic manufacturing projects.
Risk Management & KPIs: Identify, mitigate, and monitor operational and project risks; adjust and define relevant KPIs to guarantee target achievements.
Improvement Methodologies:



Apply continuous improvement cycles (PDCA) and Advanced Product Quality Planning standards. Candidate Profile & Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of proven experience managing R&D; projects and executing project implementations from scratch within the metal-mechanical manufacturing industry.
Preferred Profile: Background in NPD (New Product Development) or NPI (New Product Introduction) roles.
Language Skills: Advanced conversational English. Methodologies & Technical Skills Proficiency in continuous improvement cycles (PDCA).
Solid knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning).
Experience with formal project management methodologies (risk management, S-curves/progress tracking, KPIs).
Key Soft Skills: Negotiation, influence without direct authority, sense of urgency, and cross-departmental conflict resolution. What We Offer Competitive salary aligned with senior-level experience.
