Through MAVI, you'll join a US-based company in a full-time remote role, take ownership of the books of a subscription software business, and build international experience, all while working from Mexico.

What You'll Own

- Bookkeeping: Record and categorize daily transactions and keep the general ledger clean and current.

- Billing & Payments: Record subscription invoices and customer payments, and reconcile the billing system to the books.

- Reconciliations: Complete bank, credit card, and payment processor reconciliations on schedule.

- Bills & Expenses: Enter vendor bills, review expense reports, and track software and other recurring costs.

- Deferred Revenue Support: Help maintain deferred revenue and prepaid schedules for the month-end close.

- Month-End Support:



Prepare the books for close and help answer questions from the US finance team.

What We're Looking For

- Bookkeeping experience: At least 4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.

- Recurring billing: Experience with subscription, software, or other recurring-revenue businesses.

- Accounting software: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or a similar system.

- Accrual basics: A good understanding of accruals, prepaids, and deferred revenue.

- Good English communication: Confidence working directly with US founders and finance teams in English.

Good to Have

- Experience with billing or payment tools such as Stripe, Chargebee, or similar.

- Familiarity with SaaS metrics such as monthly recurring revenue (MRR).

- Experience supporting US startups.

- Contador Público or Contador Público Certificado, CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification (completed or in progress).
