About the Role
Our client is a leading engineering consultancy specializing in urban development and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ingeniero Civil de Proyectos to contribute to our growing portfolio in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca. This role is ideal for a civil engineer passionate about improving urban environments and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. You will be involved in the planning, design, and execution of projects such as roads, water systems, and public spaces. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong project management capabilities to ensure successful project delivery from conception to completion in this historically rich and culturally significant city.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning, design, and development of urban infrastructure projects.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications using relevant software.
Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
Support project managers in tracking project progress, budget, and timelines.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and monitor construction activities.
Review technical proposals and construction submittals.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and design codes.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for project milestones.




Contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in urban infrastructure.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., "AutoCAD") and basic knowledge of civil engineering design software.
Familiarity with Mexican civil engineering standards and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
Proactive attitude and commitment to delivering quality work.
Experience with GIS software is a plus.
