The Manufacturing IT Application Support Engineer provides support and maintenance for IT applications and systems at the designated site/GEO. AI adoption is a mandatory requirement for this role. The engineer is expected to actively leverage AI in daily application support activities and to develop and adopt AI agents that improve troubleshooting, problem resolution, knowledge management, automation, and overall support efficiency.
The role is responsible for fulfilling services within defined SLA levels, overseeing respective applications, systems, and IT infrastructure, supporting system maintenance and outages, and providing customer service to end users. The primary focus is to ensure critical business and manufacturing applications remain stable, available, and operational.
The engineer participates in IT-related projects impacting the designated site/GEO and acts as an IT ambassador for the local business.

§Keep critical IT-managed applications and systems running, ensuring stability, availability, and business continuity. § Drive and ensure AI adoption as a mandatory component of application support activities, leveraging AI to improve troubleshooting, incident resolution,



knowledge management, automation, and operational efficiency.
§ Identify opportunities to create, implement, and continuously improve AI agents that support IT applications, automate repetitive support activities, and enhance application support capabilities.
§ Continuously develop AI skills and actively incorporate AI and AI agents into day-to-day responsibilities. AI adoption is a core expectation of this role
§Deliver end-user and application support services within defined IT Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to achieve IT and business KPIs.
§Support IT-related change requests and projects impacting the local/regional business, including infrastructure, DWS, applications, and security.
§Support hardware provisioning and lifecycle activities for IT and manufacturing systems.
§Act as the primary IT focal point for the local business and serve as an ambassador for central IT teams.
§Maintain accurate and up-to-date system documentation, technical procedures, and knowledge bases.
§Identify and report IT systems and application security risks and actively support remediation activities.
