About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Mechanical Project and Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of automated mechanical systems and solutions for various industrial applications.
- Specify, select, and integrate robotic systems, PLCs, sensors, and other automation components.
- Develop mechanical designs for automation equipment, fixtures, and tooling.
- Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of automation systems.
- Manage automation projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automated systems to improve performance and reliability.




- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation technology and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Prepare technical documentation, including project plans, specifications, and commissioning reports.
- Provide remote technical support and guidance to implementation teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a significant focus on automation projects.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automated systems, including robotics and PLC integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software for mechanical design.
- Solid understanding of control systems, mechatronics, and industrial networking.
- Experience in project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
