TheQuality Assurance Engineer role creates and maintains a runbook of automatedand manual tests, determining what subsets of tests to perform based on thedifferent stages of the software feature delivery. This role with collaboratewith Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define and vet the tests; with SoftwareEngineers (SWEs) to extend our test harness to automate, when feasible; thosetests; and with and Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to incorporate thosetests into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Essential Functions:
- Identify and formalize test scenarios to createa wholistic test coverage.
- Maintain a runbook of scenarios run fordifferent contexts (e.g. deployed to staging, preparing for production release,nightly regression)
- Continuously improve our testing ecosystem,favoring automation when feasible and practical.
- Collaborate with SMEs to ensure wholistic testcoverage.
- Analyze test results, converting failures intoactionable tickets that seek the resolution of defects.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable 4 years ofexperience.
- Experience with testing frameworks likeSelenium or Cypress, or demonstrated ability to learn
- Experience with API testing tools such asPostman or Swagger, or demonstrated ability to learn
- Experience with version control (e.g. Git)
- Demonstrable understanding of test design,exploratory testing, and bug life-cycle management. Education and

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or relatedfield (MBA preferred).




- 12–15+ years of experience in IT services ormanaged services environments.
