About the Role

Our client, a prominent entity in the media landscape, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Public Relations and Corporate Communications Specialist to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role is based in the bustling corporate hub of Naucalpan, State of Mexico. Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations and corporate communication strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Manage media relations, including press releases, media kits, pitching stories, and responding to inquiries.
- Craft compelling content for various platforms, such as press releases, speeches, social media updates, website copy, and internal communications.
- Organize and manage press conferences, media events, and other corporate functions.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and key opinion leaders.
- Oversee crisis communication efforts, developing and executing response plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communications.
- Contribute to the development of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and communication plans.




- Measure and report on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and communication activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic communication plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; strong command of English is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage media relationships and secure positive media coverage.
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms and digital communication tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a hybrid setting.
