An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Teconnex Mexico as our Production Engineering Manager, playing a key role within our site leadership team.
We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader with a passion for automation, lean manufacturing and operational excellence to help shape the future of our manufacturing operations
Overview of the role
- Leading, developing and inspiring our Production Engineering team.
- Driving automation, robotics and innovative manufacturing technologies.
- Championing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement.
- Improving safety, quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
- Leading capital investment projects and new product introductions.
- Developing smarter, more efficient manufacturing processes.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Significant experience in Production Engineering, with a proven track record in automation, lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
- Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership experience within a high-volume,
complex and quality-critical manufacturing environment, ideally Tier 1 Automotive or Aerospace.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred), TPM and industrial engineering best practices.
- Written and verbal communications within the English Language
- Proven background, experience of reviewing, improving and optimising manufacturing processes to drive efficiency, quality and cost improvements.
- Managing CAPEX projects and engineering budgets.
- Able to commute to our Monterrey location.
