Job Description:Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Buyer – Plastics to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for plastic injection molded components. This role is responsible for managing global supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, and supporting new program launches within a complex, fast-paced automotive environment.The ideal candidate brings deep experience in plastic injection molded components (Tier 2), with the ability to influence both material strategy and supplier performance.Key Responsibilities Own global sourcing strategy for plastic injection molded componentsLead supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management across regional and global suppliersDrive cost reduction initiatives through material strategy, supplier consolidation, and commercial negotiationsManage relationships with Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers, ensuring performance in quality, delivery, and costSupport new product launches, ensuring materials and components are sourced and delivered on timePartner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to align sourcing strategiesMonitor market trends, raw material indices, and supply risks to inform sourcing decisionsEnsure compliance with company procurement policies and supplier standardsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business,
