About the Role

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy specializing in urban development and infrastructure projects. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ingeniero Civil de Proyectos to contribute to our growing portfolio in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca. This role is adecuado for a civil engineer passionate about improving urban environments and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions. You will be involved in the planning, design, and execution of projects such as roads, water systems, and public spaces. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and strong project management capabilities to ensure successful project delivery from conception to completion in this historically rich and culturally significant city.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning, design, and development of urban infrastructure projects.
- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications using relevant software.
- Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
- Support project managers in tracking project progress, budget, and timelines.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and monitor construction activities.
- Review technical proposals and construction submittals.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and design codes.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for project milestones.




- Contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects, particularly in urban infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., "AutoCAD") and basic knowledge of civil engineering design software.
- Familiarity with Mexican civil engineering standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Proactive attitude and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Experience with GIS software is a plus.
