Description Develop, implement, and improve assembly processes and manufacturing equipment for new and existing products, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved while supporting production sites and product launches globally. Req Number ENG-26-00078 Position Requirements
• Evaluation and implementation of engineering changes.
• Estimated cost of equipment and assembly tools.
• Assembly process development for new products and / or changes to existing products (MSD – Manufacturing System Design).
• Research and development of new technologies for the assembly of new products.
• Manage and record the PFMEA for assembly processes.
• Provide specifications and generate new equipment requirements for quotes.
• Provide manufacturing equipment and processes to our plants -Equipment/processes ready to PPAP 100% on time -All equipment delivered within budgeted cost -Equipment performance to FTQ commitments -Equipment to meet all pertinent safety standards
• Manage the design review process focused on assembly (Production Readiness Review).
• Project coordination for test runs of equipment and its validation.
• Provide support to manufacturing sites to improve processes mainly plants in Matamoros and Juarez.
• Provide basic training in operation of new equipment to the plant personnel.
• Support as required all our sites globally.
• Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
• Support the process of Assembly of the prototype at MTC offering equipment and tools.
• Support quality systems (ISO/TS 16949:2009).
• Supporting company events when required.
