Business Unit: Sensors & Fluid Management
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, directing, and coordinating manufacturing processes within the production area for second shift. You will ensure the proper implementation and follow-up of these processes, determine phase capabilities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality.
Ensure availability of process equipment, tooling, and special tools for production.
Verify that process equipment is included in the preventive maintenance schedule and complies with measurement standards.
Ensure tooling and special tools meet required standards and are maintained within minimum/maximum inventory levels.
Standardize work procedures and apply manufacturing best practices.
Support training initiatives to develop technicians and operators as needed.
Participate in capital investment projects.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within the automotive or aerospace industry.
Conversational English required.
Experience in automation processes and familiarity with PLC programming (preferred).
Solid experience with AutoCAD or CAM software (preferred).
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, JD Edwards, SAP (preferred).
Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office.
Bilingual Spanish-English (preferred).
