This position is designed for experienced logistics professionals and offers a salary of $25,000 MXN per month, depending on experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight operations, or a related field.

BlueGrace Logistics, a U.S.-based transportation management company, has opened its first international office in Mexico and is looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Planner to join our team in Guadalajara.

The Logistics Operations Planner is responsible for providing operational support to contracted clients, ensuring exceptional customer service, shipment visibility, and freight execution. This individual will leverage previous logistics experience to proactively manage transportation operations, resolve service issues, coordinate with carriers, and support customer supply chain needs.

What does a typical day look like?

- Proactively monitor and track shipments, identifying service risks and implementing solutions for delayed or disrupted freight.
- Complete and analyze daily shipment tracking reports for assigned customers.
- Manage inbound requests from high-volume freight accounts and provide timely resolution.
- Communicate directly with carriers regarding shipment status, delays, pickups, and deliveries.
- Respond professionally to customer emails, calls, and service requests.
- Determine the most effective transportation solutions based on shipment requirements and transit expectations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and operational partners.
- Collaborate with local carrier terminals to reduce service failures and improve performance.




- Schedule pickups, deliveries, and appointment-based freight movements.
- Escalate service concerns and identify process improvement opportunities with the Operations Manager.
- Follow up on unconfirmed, delayed, or rejected pickup requests.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of service issues and freight exceptions.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and reporting tools to manage daily operations and ensure service excellence.

What are we seeking?

- Minimum 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, supply chain, customer logistics, or a related field.
- Experience managing shipments, tracking freight, coordinating with carriers, and resolving transportation-related issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent English (written and verbal).

- Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), CRM platforms, or logistics software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts and shipment activities simultaneously.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based customers and transportation networks is highly preferred.

Location: Andares, Guadalajara Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Compensation: $25,000 MXN per month, based on experience
