Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production System Intern to join our team at Valeo Management. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in optimizing production processes and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within a general automotive supplier.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assist in the analysis and optimization of production line processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvement and waste reduction.

- Support the implementation and monitoring of Valeo Production System (VPS) principles and tools.

- Participate in data collection and analysis related to production performance, quality, and costs.

- Help prepare and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

- Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and other departments to identify and resolve production issues.

- Contribute to continuous improvement projects (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, SMED).





- Provide support for the development and deployment of new production methods and equipment.

- Learn and apply problem-solving methodologies to address production challenges.

- Assist in training and communication efforts related to production system changes.

Job Qualifications:**

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) is a plus.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn and contribute.

- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish or French is a plus.
