The Process Quality Engineer (PQE) is responsible for ensuring that both manufacturing processes and finished products meet internal and customer quality standards. The PQE drives continuous improvement in product quality, process capability, and defect prevention through the use of quality tools, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

1. Develop and maintain process FMEA (PFMEA), control plans, and process flow diagrams.
2. Conduct process capability studies (Cp, Cpk) and monitor production quality metrics (yield, scrap, rework).
3. Perform and support Layered Process Audits (LPA) and internal IATF 16949 audits.
4. Work closely with production and engineering to ensure process stability and capability.
5. Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma principles.
6. Support change management, deviation requests, and process validations.
7. Support product audits, reliability testing, and final inspection standards.
8. Monitor and improve customer quality indicators (PPM, warranty returns, field issues).
9. Lead failure analysis (FA) using tools like 5 Whys, Ishikawa, and DOE.
10. Manage customer complaints,



perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (8D).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS [3–5+] years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality (preferably in the automotive or electronics industry).

Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management software (e.g., SAP, QAD, or similar).

English proficiency (spoken and written).

Experience on internal and external audits. (ISO 9001 - IATF 16949)

Experience in electronics or automotive systems.

Green Belt or Lean Six Sigma certification. (Is a plus)
