The Body Exterior Quality Engineer is responsible for tracking and supporting activities that improve the quality of all vehicles produced at the company, at both the system and component level. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the sessions needed to generate and follow up on quality improvement projects, from conception through implementation.
- Coordinate and/or support, as required, the validation of design changes that result from projects and ideas to improve quality indicators.
- Review and validate the manufacturing process to confirm the proper execution of all Body Exterior Quality projects.
- Verify and confirm that Body Exterior Quality projects meet Ford Motor Company requirements.
- Track the status and progress of all Body Exterior Quality projects.
- Create and manage reports that communicate project status to stakeholders.
