About the Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Word Press Developer to join our global engineering team. This position focuses on backend development - building and optimizing custom Word Press plugins, APIs, and integrations for large-scale, high-performance websites.
The idóneo candidate has deep knowledge of Word Press internals, experience working with enterprise clients, and a strong understanding of scalable, maintainable code.
Responsibilities Design and develop custom Word Press plugins and themes from scratch using PHP, My SQL, and modern best practices.
Implement advanced custom fields (ACF), custom post types, and taxonomies for structured data management.
Optimize database queries and improve performance across complex Word Press sites (meta queries, caching, indexing).
Integrate Word Press with third-party APIs and automation tools.
Develop and maintain cron jobs, background tasks, and data synchronization scripts.
Build and maintain Gutenberg blocks or React-based admin components when required.
Ensure sites meet performance, accessibility, and SEO standards (Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, Dev Ops, QA, design) following Agile practices.
Write clean, well-documented,



and unit-tested code following OOP principles and Word Press coding standards. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of professional Word Press development experience, focusing on backend and custom plugin work.
Experience with Word Press hooks (actions & filters), custom queries, and optimization strategies.
Proficient in ACF, CPT UI, Gutenberg.
Solid understanding of Word Press REST API, webhooks, and API integrations.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with performance optimization, caching mechanisms, and scalable Word Press architectures.
Advanced written and spoken English (international client communication required). - Yearly Office Allowance Budget
