We’re looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Sigma Computing. You’ll play a key role in shaping our analytics infrastructure, ensuring clean, reliable, and well-modeled data for decision-making across the organization.

This role blends software engineering best practices with modern data stack tools, making it perfect for someone who’s as comfortable writing SQL and Python as they are designing efficient data models or optimizing warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using DBT and Snowflake.
- Model and transform raw data into clean, analytics-ready datasets.
- Implement data quality checks, testing, and documentation in DBT.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Sigma Computing, enabling self-service analytics.
- Optimize Snowflake performance (warehouse sizing, caching, partitioning, cost control).
- Collaborate with data analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to understand data needs.
- Understand and apply software engineering best practices — version control, CI/CD, testing, code reviews.




- Integrate data from APIs and external systems using Python or other ETL frameworks.

Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI development.
- Strong profi ciency in SQL and Python.
- Proven experience with DBT (data modeling, testing, macros, documentation).
- Hands-on experience with Snowfl ake (warehouse design, performance tuning, security).
- Experience building dashboards in Sigma Computing or similar tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Understanding of data modeling principles (Kimball, star/snowfl ake schemas).
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, Git-based development workfl ow.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience integrating data via APIs or event streams (Airbyte, Fivetran, Kafka).
- Background in software development or DevOps (Azure is preferred).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data workfl ows.
- Knowledge of data governance, access control, or cost optimization strategies.
