Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in DevOps, automation, cloud-native technologies, monitoring, and observability.

The adecuado candidate will be responsible for improving the reliability, scalability, availability, and performance of distributed systems, with a strong focus on CI/CD automation, Kubernetes monitoring, observability, and system troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps best practices to improve system availability, reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines, with a strong emphasis on automation and operational efficiency.
- Implement and manage metrics collection, monitoring, dashboards, and alerting across applications and infrastructure.
- Perform hands-on system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution across infrastructure and application layers.
- Build, operate, and maintain Prometheus and Grafana clusters used to monitor Kubernetes environments.
- Develop advanced Prometheus queries and Grafana dashboards to provide visibility into application and infrastructure health.
- Implement and support observability standards using OpenTelemetry, including distributed tracing.
- Develop and maintain operational automation, utilities, and scripts using Python, Shell scripting, and Groovy.
- Monitor and support Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
- Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud accounts as part of ongoing SRE operations.
- Partner with engineering, application, DevOps,



and platform teams to improve deployment processes, observability, system reliability, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Hands-on professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or a closely related engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of SRE principles and DevOps practices.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment strategies.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and account management.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native operations.
- Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and supporting Prometheus and Grafana for Kubernetes monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of PromQL/Prometheus querying, Grafana dashboards, metrics, and alerting.
- Experience implementing comprehensive monitoring and observability practices.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry and distributed tracing.
- Strong system troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) capabilities across infrastructure and applications.
- Strong scripting and automation experience with:
- Python
- Shell scripting
- Groovy

- Strong understanding of distributed systems, monitoring, performance, reliability, and operational automation.
- An automation-first mindset with a strong hands-on engineering approach.
