Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic

Senior / Lead ServiceNow Developer with

8 to 15 years of hands-on expertise in enterprise-level ServiceNow architecture, development, and administration. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. You will architect complex integration solutions, drive automation across diverse business units, and mentor junior development team members to maintain high technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Platform Architecture & Development:

Design, configure, and customize core ServiceNow applications, complex workflows, and scalable technical blueprints from functional specifications.

- Advanced Scripting:

Author high-quality, efficient Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, and Script Includes using modern JavaScript and the ServiceNow Glide API.

- System Integrations:

Architect, build, and secure cross-platform integrations using REST/SOAP web services, Scripted REST APIs, and IntegrationHub.

- Technical Leadership:

Lead technical design walkthroughs and perform stringent code reviews to enforce industry best practices, compliance, and platform sustainability.

- Module Ownership:

Manage and optimize extensive deployments across ITSM, alongside other key suites like ITOM, FSM, HRSD,



or Application Portfolio Management (APM).

- Platform Governance & Security:

Oversee instance security using Access Control Lists (ACLs), roles, and secure authentication mechanisms. Maintain peak performance tuning and database indexing.

- Lifecycle Management:

Plan and execute flawless instance upgrades, patch management, regression testing, and migration of customizations between sub-production and production environments.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications

- Experience:

8 to 15 years of dedicated software development experience

, with at least 6+ years focused heavily on ServiceNow enterprise configuration and engineering.

- Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Core Scripting:

Expert level proficiency with modern JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and Glide APIs.

- ServiceNow Frameworks:

Strong expertise in Service Portal design, widget development, Workflow Editor, Flow Designer, and custom application creation.

- Framework Methodologies:

Deep functional understanding of ITIL best practices (incident, problem, change, configuration management) and Agile development methodologies.

- Integrations:

Mastery of REST APIs, webhook structures, and IntegrationHub.
