The Cost and Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for a variety of aspects including forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analyzing the company's finance and expenses.General ResponsibilitiesDeveloping financial models through benchmarking and process analysisForecasting quarterly and annual profitsAnalyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvementsConduct thorough research of historical financial dataExplore investment options and present risk and opportunitiesEvaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing presente results with plans and forecasts; coordinating with leadership on long-term financial planningGuide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and proceduresRecommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materialsIdentify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and toolsRecommend and direct changes in operating procedures to improve efficiencies in payment and procurement processesOversees the examination of data to help with reducing cost in all operationsContribute in developing yearly operation plans, budgets, and estimating new product costs,
including economic analysisExperience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.E.
