About the Role

Our client, a leading company in the hidrocarburos sector, is seeking an experienced Ingeniero de Procesos de Extracción de Hidrocarburos Senior to join their dynamic team in Toluca, State of Mexico . This role is crucial for optimizing and overseeing all aspects of hydrocarbon extraction processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement advanced processes for the extraction of crude oil and natural gas.
- Monitor and analyze extraction operations, identifying areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and environmental standards throughout the extraction lifecycle.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for new extraction projects and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, reservoir engineers, and operations staff, to achieve project goals.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize production.




- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations on process performance and recommendations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the operational teams.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in hydrocarbon extraction process engineering.
- Proven expertise in upstream operations, including drilling, completion, and production optimization.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer principles as applied to E&P.;
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with hybrid work models and remote collaboration tools is desirable.
- Knowledge of Mexican regulations in the hidrocarburos sector.
