Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Superintendente de Geología to lead their geological team in Acapulco, Guerrero . This senior role is responsible for the overall management of geological operations, including resource estimation, exploration, and mine geology support. The idóneo candidate will possess extensive experience in diverse geological settings, advanced knowledge of geological modeling software, and a proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing technical team. You will play a critical role in defining and maximizing the value of our client's mineral resources, ensuring robust geological data supports all stages of mine planning and production. This position requires strong leadership and a deep understanding of geological principles applied to mining.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of mine geology, including resource and reserve estimation, exploration, and grade control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the geological team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and safety.
- Develop and implement geological models and exploration strategies to identify new mineral resources.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of geological data and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with mine planning, operations, and metallurgical departments to optimize resource utilization.
- Manage geological budgets and resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Oversee the planning and execution of exploration drilling programs.
- Review and approve geological reports,



resource estimates, and technical studies.
- Stay current with advancements in geological modeling, exploration techniques, and mining technology.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or Geological Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mine geology, exploration, and resource estimation.
- Proven experience in leading and managing geological teams.
- Expertise in geological modeling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Vulcan, Datamine) and GIS.
- Strong understanding of geological principles, structural geology, and mineral deposit types.
- Experience with both open-pit and underground mining environments is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and demanding mining environment in Acapulco, Guerrero .
- Professional Geologist certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
