anyone ai is seeking chemistry experts to develop challenging tasks that assess ai agents' ability to perform chemical reasoning - mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical interpretation. You will create original tasks and reference solutions, then evaluate frontier models using reaction schemes, spectra, and analytical data.

company: anyone ai location: remote engagement: project-based with adaptable hours compensation: us$80-us$150 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements

responsibilities

- design tasks on reaction mechanisms, synthesis routes, and analytical/spectral interpretation.
- develop reference solutions that account for reaction conditions and lab safety.
- evaluate output for impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures, and misread spectra.




- identify chemically unsound reasoning and overlooked conditions.
- define criteria for chemical correctness, feasibility, and safety.

requirements

- degree in chemistry or a related field, or equivalent lab expertise.
- graduate-level chemistry background or equivalent hands-on laboratory experience.
- comfortable across organic, inorganic, or physical chemistry.
- experience interpreting spectra and evaluating synthetic routes.
- fluent english, with strong written communication skills.

preferred qualifications

phd or industry r&d; experience; depth in analytical chemistry, spectroscopy, or complex synthesis.
