Jr. Civil Drafter/Designer We are opening a new position in our company for a Jr. Civil Drafter/Designer. Under the supervision of a Senior Civil Designer, this position will participate in the CAD production of site plans, utility plans (Sewer, water, and storm drain), grading and drainage plans, road profiles, subdivisions, boundary and topographic surveys, for residential, commercial and industrial developments. This role offers a unique chance to position yourself favorably for future leadership opportunities as we expand our presence. We’re seeking a highly motivated and diligent individual ready to undertake a rigorous six-month trial period. During this time, you’ll be a paid intern and receive the training necessary to gain the skills and knowledge required to excel in our industry. Upon successful completion of the trial period, if you have demonstrated mastery over the essential skills needed for this job, you may be hired as a Jr. Civil Drafter/Designer, possibly transition to a hybrid work model, and enjoy enhanced autonomy.

Qualifications:
• Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university in Mexico, Latin America, or North America.
• Must be totally fluent in English (minimum TOEFL IBT score of 80, DET score of 115 or equivalent).
• It is indispensable to be highly Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Poses experience as a civil designer and/or “proyectista” in the Energy, Land Development, or Highways/Roads sectors.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Test (prior to or within 6 months of hire).
• Experience with Civil 3D is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with project design and planning, including land use applications and construction.
• Create conceptual and formal design drawings, including maps, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation.
• Perform quality control checks on design plans to ensure consistency and correctness.
• Follow industry standards, guidelines, and codes for project deliverables.
• Coordinate drafting and design efforts with clients and third-party providers.

Location:
• Preferably Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro or Guadalajara, Jalisco.
