Objective / Purpose of the FunctionThe Electronics Technician performs technical activities on products, equipment, and systems relevant to their area of work. Consult FMI-143 for individual Standard Operating Procedures related to authorities/responsibilities on Management Systems.
Principal ResponsibilitiesCalibrate high-voltage sources according to test procedures.
Train new electronics technicians in high-voltage generator and X-ray testing.
Escalate design flaws and test procedure documentation issues to the support teams.
Generate service orders for test equipment failures (Production, Repair Areas)Generate FAR Failure Analysis Reports (FAR). Analyze and repair test equipment failures (Test Engineering Area)Perform preventive maintenance on test equipment (Test Engineering Area)Generate flying probe and PMA programs. (Test Engineering Area)Comply with the Health, Safety, and Environment Policy,



following the procedures and instructions applicable to their activities.
Weighting/Level: (1-Basic, 2-Intermediate, 3-Advanced, 4-Specialized)Engineering with a specialty in Electronics or a related fieldMinimum of 1 year of experience in the position, preferablyKnowledge of switching power suppliesKnowledge of operational amplifiersKnowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitsBasic knowledge of industrial electricityReading and interpreting electronic schematics.
Use and operation of electrical test and measurement equipment.
Basic English.
Completion of the technical or general training required for the position.
