About the Role

Our client, a prominent civil engineering firm specializing in transportation infrastructure, is actively searching for a skilled Ingeniero Civil de Carreteras y Vías to join their team in Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico . This role is critical for the planning, design, and supervision of highway and road projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet stringent safety, environmental, and quality standards. The idóneo candidate will possess a deep understanding of traffic engineering principles, pavement design, and drainage systems. This position requires close collaboration with public entities, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design and development of highway and road projects, including alignment, grading, and drainage.
- Conduct traffic studies and analysis to inform design decisions.
- Perform pavement design and rehabilitation analysis.
- Develop construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with permitting agencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental and structural engineers.
- Manage project schedules and budgets effectively.
- Prepare technical reports and present project updates to stakeholders.




- Identify and implement innovative solutions for traffic management and road safety.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and construction of roads and highways.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and relevant design tools.
- Strong knowledge of pavement design principles and materials.
- Familiarity with traffic engineering software and methodologies.
- Understanding of Mexican transportation standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in the Tlalnepantla, State of Mexico area is a significant advantage.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
