About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Analista Contable Junior to join their finance department in Puebla, Puebla . This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with 1-2 years of experience seeking to build a solid career in accounting. The role will provide hands-on experience in various accounting functions, with a particular focus on tax preparation and compliance. The position requires a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive team environment. This role is based in our office in Puebla, Puebla , offering a collaborative workspace.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry and maintaining financial records.
- Aid in the preparation of tax returns, including VAT, ISR, and other relevant taxes.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Respond to basic accounting inquiries from internal departments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and documentation.




- Learn and apply company accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Up to 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus but not mandatory.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits, credits, chart of accounts).
- Familiarity with Mexican tax regulations (VAT, ISR) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data manipulation).
- Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Contpaqi) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in Spanish.
