• 3D CAD Design & Packaging: Create and refine 3D CAD models and assemblies for chassis systems (control arms, subframes, knuckles, steering linkages, stabilizer bars, brake calipers, discs, and brackets).
• Kinematics & Clearance Studies: Perform packaging studies and clearance checks across dynamic vehicle states (wheel envelope, suspension travel, jounce/rebound, and steering lock-to-lock).
• 2D Drafting & Tolerancing: Generate manufacturing drawings with comprehensive application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;) according to ASME Y14.5 / ISO standards.
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Design components aligned with key chassis manufacturing methods (casting, forging, sheet metal stamping, and welding).
• On-Site & Supplier Support: Travel when required to assembly plants, prototyping facilities, or supplier locations to support vehicle prototype builds, integration checks,
and design troubleshooting.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain design history, revise Bills of Materials (BOMs), participate in DFMEA reviews, and track design change requests (ECR/ECO).

• CAD Software: Advanced modeling skills in at least one primary automotive CAD platform: CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE, Siemens NX, or SolidWorks.
• Core Competencies:
• Fundamental understanding of chassis vehicle dynamics and suspension kinematics.
• Strong mastery of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up analysis, and mechanical drafting standards.
• Familiarity with chassis materials (aluminum alloys, forged steel, high-strength sheet steel).
• Mobility & Travel: Based in Mexico with availability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally (valid passport and visa eligibility preferred).
• Languages: Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
